Abruzzo

Version: 0.5.0
Download: abruzzo-0.5.0.tar.gz
Description:
Abruzzo is a complete automated network registration system. It’s original implementation was at Indiana Tech where I developed it as a turnkey solution to their virus and malware problems. Abruzzo provides intelligent traffic monitoring via Snort to discover infected hosts in realtime and segment them from the production network to a captured VLAN. It also makes use of Nessus to scan registered and non-registered hosts to discover vulnerabilities and possible sources of attack before they become problems. Finally, it borrows code from the InProtect project to manage the Nessus servers, and borrows ideas from BASE to provide a realtime alert monitoring section.
