phishfry, savory’s email injector, received an upgrade today to support a range of new features.
- Ability to specify tags, queues, and context in email headers
- Ability to specify tags, queues, and context in email body commands
- New arguments to the urlmatch script to move more configuration into script arguments
It’s a welcome upgrade because there have been countless times when I’ve forwarded an email to phishfry and been frustrated that I had to still log in to further manipulate the URL.
For example, to blackhole a URL I would have to forward the URL to savory and then log in to savory to apply a special tag to the URL. Now, I can forward the email to savory and specify in the body of the email, or the headers of the email, the tags that I want to apply. The URL will go in to savory and magically appear in the site proxies with a single action.
